About us

The Greater Hanover Area Fire Department Museum is now located at 134 East Hanover Street, Hanover Pennsylvania in the old Eagle Fire Station which was built in 1914. The museum preserves the heritage of over 200 years of firefighting from the greater Hanover area. The three original volunteer fire companies as well as the career side of the Hanover Fire Department, the four original Penn Township volunteer companies as well as many other local volunteer fire companies are represented here.
